Study reveals the most drawn EuroMillions numbers in history

They say the Lotto is a game of luck, but now we can find out which numbers are ‘luckier’ than others for the EuroMillions.

Just last week, a quick pick ticket for the EuroMillions won someone in Dublin a whopping €500,000, with the same draw seeing 33,000 tickets come up winners.

Only last year, a family in Cork won the jackpot and netted €250million in the biggest EuroMillions jackpot ever.

Often over 30 million people across Europe enter the draw, so it’ll be handy to know what numbers come up more than others, wouldn’t it?

That’s why the team at MyBettingSites.co.uk has analysed every EuroMillions draw since the game launched in February 2004 to find the most frequently drawn numbers in the game’s history.

Having been drawn 571 times, 3 is the luckiest number in the EuroMillions, followed closely behind by number 2, which has been drawn 562 times. Then it’s 8, with one draw separating each of 5, 7 and 9.

To build a perfect card, 1 comes up as the first number more often than any other, being drawn first 185 times.

Then 15, 24 and 38 are the most drawn numbers in the second, third and fourth position, respectively. Meanwhile, 50 has come up as the fifth number 209 times.

For the two Lucky Stars, 2 has been drawn the most at Lucky Star 1, being drawn 354 times. For Lucky Star 2, number 9 has been drawn the most, coming out 286.

That means the card with the numbers most likely to be drawn in that position is 1, 15, 24, 38, 50, 2, 9.

However, at the end of the day all these stats don’t really mean anything and won’t improve your odds, as each draw is independent and past draws don’t play into effect of new ones.
