Offaly has been revealed as the winning county of Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after the jackpot was won in Saturday night’s Lotto.
The draw gave a player in the Faithful County plenty to celebrate this weekend after they won the staggering €8,221,849 jackpot.
The Offaly player winner becomes the fourth Lotto Jackpot winner of 2026. The winning numbers for Saturday’s Lotto draw (July 25) were: 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus was 37.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning retail location in Offaly will be announced over the coming days.
Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: “What a weekend it’s been, a Lotto player in Co. Offaly has officially become Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot worth an impressive €8,221,849.”
He added: “We are encouraging all of our players in Co. Offaly to carefully check their tickets today as one player now holds the title of fourth Lotto jackpot winner of 2026. If it is you, get in touch with our prize claims team as soon as possible, and in the meantime, keep that ticket somewhere safe!”
The winning ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected]. Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.
