North East man becomes millionaire in National Lottery Win

A man from Northumberland has become a millionaire after a lucky lottery win.

The man, who has remained anonymous, won £1 million in the National Lottery’s EuroMillions Millionaire Maker event.

The life-changing win came as part of a special draw on Friday, May 1, which guaranteed 10 new UK millionaires, and the lucky winner had purchased his ticket online specifically for this draw.

He said: “I fancied my chances on the 10 UK Millionaire Maker event, so I bought a ticket – I couldn’t believe it when I realised that I had actually won.

“This means that my life can totally change and I can look forward to an amazing future in my own home.”

The new millionaire plans to use his winnings to buy a new home and celebrate modestly by treating his mates to a round of coffees.
