New York Lottery says two third-prize Powerball tickets sold in Freeport, Syracuse

NEW YORK (WBNG) — Two New York Lottery third-prize-winning tickets were sold for the Saturday, June 20 Powerball drawing in Onondaga and Nassau Counties.

One player won $50,000 from one prize-winning ticket from the Gala Foods Supermarket at 120 North Main St. in Freeport.

Another player won $50,000 from one prize-winning ticket from Rocky’s News & Cigars at 447 N Salina St. in Syracuse.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

The New York Lottery is North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion during the 2024-2025 fiscal year to benefit public schools in New York State.
