New Jersey lottery player wins $1 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. Here’s where

A New Jersey lottery player won a $1 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Wednesday, Sept. 10. It’s the 48th time the lottery game has been won in 2025.

The New Jersey Lottery announced that a ticket sold in Ocean County matched the five numbers to win the $1,039,075 jackpot.

The winning ticket was sold at Robin’s Convenience Store on Atlantic City Boulevard in Beachwood. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers for Sept. 10 were: 08, 17, 26, 38 and 43. The XTRA was 02 and Bullseye: 38.

The New Jersey Lottery estimates the next Jersey Cash 5 jackpot at $150,000 for the Sept. 11 drawing.

Million-dollar dream

“I had a dream during the night that I hit,” the winning lottery player said Tuesday at the New Jersey Lottery office. “I woke up around 3:30 a.m. I went to the computer to check my numbers and I saw I won.”

In the morning, the unnamed lottery player checked the numbers on more time before calling a family member to tell them. “They said they woke up in the middle of the night, too!”

The winner plans to use the money for some home repairs and pay some bills. In New Jersey, lottery winners can remain anonymous.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
