More than half a million pounds won in Bury on Postcode Lottery in the last week

It’s been a week of good luck, which started off in style on Saturday, March 28, when two neighbours became £250,000 richer when their postcode was drawn in the bumper monthly prize.
The pair were the only winners when the bumper windfall landed in Railway Street, BL8 2AZ, and every ticket was worth £250,000.
They chose to remain anonymous when the announcement was made by the People’s Postcode Lottery team.
Then, just days later, another Bury postcode came up on the lottery’s daily prize draw, making any participating residents £1,000 richer.
Ticketholders living on Rowan Drive had their BL9 7QP postcode win after it was drawn alongside 19 other lucky areas on Wednesday, April 1.
That came a day before another Bury postcode won on the daily prize draw, with residents in Whitefield celebrating.
This was because ticketholders living on Rochford Avenue had their M45 7PS postcode win on Thursday, April 2.

It means at least £502,000 has been won in the borough this week, though it could be higher depending on the number of lottery entrants on Rowan Drive and Rochford Avenue.
But the biggest victory was on Railway Street, and lottery ambassador Matt Johnson was delighted to share the news of the double win.
He said: “Huge congratulations to both of our winners. I’m absolutely overjoyed for them.
“I hope they have plenty of fun spending their winnings and celebrate in style.”
The People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month.
The lottery supports “a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world”.
To date, it has provided more than £1.1 billion in funding, which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
The results of the daily prize draws can be found on the People’s Postcode Lottery website.
