Minnesota Gopher 5 ticket worth more than $1.5 million won days after record Lotto America Jackpot

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (Northern News Now) – A Gopher 5 lottery ticket matched all numbers Monday night, winning one player more than $1.5 million.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cub Foods in Burnsville.

Because the store sold the winning ticket, Cub Foods will also receive a $5,000 bonus.

Historic weekend for Minnesota lottery

The Gopher 5 win comes just days after the state’s record $24 million Lotto America jackpot was won, marking what lottery officials described as a historic weekend for Minnesota lottery players.
