Mel and Sue’s Win Win with Postcode Lottery confirmed for second series – ATV Today

Viewers will soon have another chance to test their luck from the comfort of their own homes

ITV has commissioned a second series of Win Win with Postcode Lottery, with beloved presenting duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins set to return for another run of the interactive Saturday night entertainment show.

Produced by Hello Dolly for ITVX and ITV1, the format gives viewers at home the chance to play alongside contestants in the studio, with every prize won on-screen also awarded to a viewer watching at home.

The series combines quiz questions, audience participation and high-stakes decision-making, with contestants competing for an array of prizes ranging from luxury holidays and cars to cash and tickets for major sporting and entertainment events.

A coveted place on “Millionaire’s Row” is also up for grabs in every episode, where one studio contestant and one home player earn the chance to compete for the show’s guaranteed £1 million jackpot.

The series finale sees one contestant walk away with the £1 million prize, alongside a collection of prizes accumulated throughout the series through the show’s signature “Take or Trade” twists.

The first series delivered plenty of memorable moments, none more remarkable than the victory of Sienna McSwiggan, a 20-year-old hotel manager who arrived at the studio with just one penny in her bank account and left as a millionaire. Alongside the £1 million jackpot, she also won a BMW, multiple holidays, a technology package and a new kitchen.

Reflecting on the show’s return, Sue Perkins said the programme was both fun and genuinely moving, highlighting the life-changing impact of the prizes on contestants and viewers alike.

Mel Giedroyc added that she was looking forward to meeting a new group of contestants from across the UK and sharing more memorable moments with home viewers competing for a place on Millionaire’s Row.

ITV’s Commissioning Editor for Entertainment and Reality, Kevin O’Brien, praised the format for turning viewers into active participants rather than passive observers, noting that the uncertainty surrounding contestants’ “Take or Trade” decisions created some of the show’s most dramatic moments.

Meanwhile, Victoria Ashbourne, CEO of Hello Dolly and executive producer of the series, promised that the new run would be “bigger and better than ever”, featuring luxury prizes, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and a few surprises along the way.
