The Mega Millions jackpot sits at $542 million ahead of the next drawing held Friday.

After no lottery players across the country won the big prize at Tuesday night’s drawing, the jackpot remains at $542 million with an estimated cash value of $242 million as of July 2.

The winning numbers for the last drawing Tuesday night were 26, 41, 50, 53, 62 and Mega Ball: 12.

Though there were no jackpot winners on Tuesday, two lottery players in Massachusetts each won $2,000 in the drawing.

Two Bay State players also won $1,500, while two others won $1,000 and one won $800.

The winning Massachusetts tickets were sold in towns and cities across the state, including North Andover, the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, Palmer, Groton, Holyoke, Attleboro and New Bedford.

The next multi-state Mega Millions drawing will be held at 11 p.m. on Friday, July 3. Players can buy tickets at Massachusetts State Lottery retailers until 10:45 p.m. on Friday.

Tickets to play cost $5 each and players must choose five numbers between 1-70, and one Mega Ball number between 1-24. Mega Millions drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
