Manchester woman wins £1.5m slots jackpot from £5 bet – AOL

A lucky slots player has turned £5 into over £1.5m after winning a jackpot on a £5 spin on online casino site Rialto.

The winner – who has chosen not to be identified – supposedly hails from Manchester, and won the jackpot when playing the slot game ‘Eye of Horus Jackpot King’, a popular game on several slot sites in the UK.

The mystery winner was using gaming site Rialto Casino, which is part of the established Grosvenor Casinos brand.

A press release from Grosvenor detailed the exact jackpot amount at £1,559,430.18.

While such a high jackpot win is a rarity in online gaming, such a win is not the first of its kind in recent years.

In August 2024, the Manchester Evening News reported that a woman won a £2.4m jackpot with a bet of just £1 on the Grosvenor website.
