Lottery jackpots grow bigger after no winners over the weekend

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow.

That’s after no one matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing.  The numbers were 2, 5, 42, 44, and 60, with the gold Mega Ball 1.

The next drawing is Tuesday night, with a jackpot of $800 million, the 10th largest jackpot in the game’s history.  The jackpot has been growing since a ticket sold in Ohio on St. Patrick’s Day claimed a $60 million jackpot.

There’s another chance at life changing money Monday night with Powerball’s jackpot sitting at $633 million.
