Lancs postcodes that scooped prizes in the Postcode Lottery in April

A string of Lancashire postcodes landed £1,000 prizes last month, with lucky tickets in Burnley, Blackburn, Darwen, Barnoldswick, Padiham, Skelmersdale, Lancaster, Chorley and Preston all coming up in the daily draws.
Each winning ticket in the postcode scoops £1,000, meaning some streets could see multiple payouts if several neighbours play.
Here are all the Lancashire postcodes that won £1,000 prizes in April 2026:
- BB10 4JE – Burnley
- BB12 9EZ – Higham
- BB12 7FG – Hapton
- BB18 5AH – Barnoldswick
- BB2 7PJ – Mellor Brook
- BB2 4PB – Blackburn
- BB2 7BQ – Blackburn
- BB3 3RP – Darwen
- FY3 8NF – Blackpool
- LA2 6HJ – Hest Bank
- PR4 3YF – Elswick
- PR7 7AW – Buckshaw Village
- PR7 3QG – Chorley
- WN8 8DH – Skelmersdale
To play, residents sign up with their postcode and pay monthly. If their full postcode is drawn, every ticket in that postcode wins.
On some days, prizes are shared across a wider postcode sector, with larger monthly draws giving players the chance to share millions of pounds.
The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery that raises money for charities while handing out cash prizes to players across the UK.
Every day from Monday to Friday, there are £1,000 prizes for 20 different postcodes, with bigger prizes available at weekends.
A minimum of 33 per cent of the ticket price goes to charity, with more than £1.3 billion raised for over 9,000 good causes since 2005.
