Illinois person wins billion-dollar Powerball Jackpot

One lucky ticket sold in Illinois is the big winner of Wednesday night’s billion-dollar Powerball jackpot.
It was bought at a gas station in Quincy, on the far western edge of the state.
Ticket sales pushed that jackpot to $1.4 billion, the 8th largest in Powerball history.
The winner can take the lump sum payment of $450.5 million.
Four tickets sold in Arizona, California, Florida and North Carolina matched all five white balls to win $1 million.
The Powerball now goes back to $20 million for Saturday’s drawing.
