Hunt is on to find winning lottery ticket buyer

The clock is ticking for them to claim their ‘incredible’ prize

The clock is ticking as the search for the person who bought a winning National Lottery ticket in Derbyshire goes on.

The mystery winner will be laughing all the way to the bank if they come forward as they have won £10k a month for a year on Set For Life.

Bought from a retailer in the Amber Valley area, the lucky ticket matched all five main numbers 3, 21, 22, 28 and 38 – in the draw on Monday, May 18.

The ticket-holder has until Saturday, November 14 to claim their prize.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “We’re calling on players who may have bought a ticket in Amber Valley for the Set for Life draw on May 18 to check and double check their tickets.

“Do you live in the borough or were you passing through? You could be our missing winner. We’d like nothing more than to unite our mystery ticket-holder with their incredible prize.”

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, but it must be within 30 days of the draw. Players can check the current list of unclaimed National Lottery prizes on the website here.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

As with all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days to come forward to claim their prizes. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
