Hertfordshire road wins ‘amazing’ £1 million in Postcode Lottery
Nine neighbours in a Hemel Hempstead road have won £1 million in the Postcode Lottery.
The HP1 3SE postcode, Halsey Drive, landed the weekly Millionaire Street prize on Saturday (May 16).
It also meant a set of nearby charities received surprise funding from the lottery, including £50,000 for Mediation Hertfordshire which is based in the very same road.

Angela, who works as a nurse, said: “It’s amazing that us entering the Postcode Lottery has helped many charities.
“But to help one of them on the street that we live in is simply brilliant.”
