Florida resident wins $1 million from Connecticut Lottery ticket bought in Wolcott

The player from Saint Cloud, Florida, claimed $1 million from a winning Best Chance to Be a Millionaire ticket. The Florida resident purchased the winning ticket from convenience store Nouria, located at 1520 Wolcott Road in Wolcott.
A Best Chance to Be a Millionaire ticket costs $50, and the top prize of Best Chance To Be A Millionaire is $1 million paid as a 20-year annuity or a one-time gross cash option of $750,000.
The Connecticut Lottery player had a 1 in 400,000 chance of winning the million-dollar prize, according to Connecticut Lottery’s website.
To play Best Chance To Be A Millionaire, players must match their numbers to the winning numbers in order to win the prize below any matching numbers. If a player gets a “money roll” symbol, they will win the prize below that symbol.
If a “10X” symbol is revealed, the player will win 10 times the prize below that symbol. If a “20X” symbol is revealed, the player wins 20 times the prize amount below that symbol. Players who get a “$500 Burst” symbol will win $500 instantly.
The Florida resident is the second Connecticut Lottery player to win $1 million so far in July.
A Pomfret Center resident claimed $1 million on July 13 from a winning $1,000,000 Gold ticket purchased in Brooklyn.
