Obvious case here for me is the number one most valuable franchise in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors getting the number one overall pick.

because you’ve got the Chase Center, you’ve got Steph, you’ve got Joe Lacob, and you know the ratings are sky high every time the Golden State Warriors are on national TV.

And you got Amazon Prime, NBC, and ESPN all clamoring to juice their, their ratings and their stats and draw the biggest audience as possible.

And how, what better way to do that than to give the richest, most valuable franchise in the NBA the number one overall pick in a Cam Boozer, AJ D’Bonsa draft?

if you, if you also wanna look at, like, the whole Steve Kerr, is he coming back?

Is he not coming back?

It’s May 7th, and maybe there’s a little bit of Steve Kerr waiting to see what happens on lotto night to see whether he wants to come back for maximum opportunity here.

Because again, this isn’t Ma- maybe the Warriors say if they win the draft lottery, maybe they, they trade it for a superstar and get an opportunity to load up with Ste- Steph Curry and Steve Kerr for one last hurrah.

Or he might say, “We didn’t win the lottery, we didn’t get that, that opportunity, and you know, it’s time for me to go.”

So I think all of this points to the Golden State Warriors for me being if the NBA was fixing it, it would be the Golden State Warriors.

What do you say, what say you?

I think the Warriors are the, the most obvious choice for exactly all the reasons you stated, Tom.

And I do think you’re spot on about Steve Kerr.

If I’m Steve Kerr, I’d wait until Sunday as well.

I would wait to see what happens with the draft lottery
