Cork shop sold 5-figure winning ticket as Lotto players urged to check numbers

Officials from the National Lottery have shared where the tickets of two big mid-week wins were bought – urging punters to check their numbers very closely.

A lucky player in Co Cork has scooped a handy five-figure sum after last night’s Lotto draw. It may not change their life, but the €34,710 prize will certainly make it a summer to remember.

Lotto bosses have appealed for shoppers to check their tickets as they wait for the winner to make contact, revealing that the ticket was bought yesterday at a shop in Bandon.

The ticket was a Quick Pick and was purchased on the day of the draw at Bandon Books Plus at the Riverview Shopping Centre. The ticket matched five numbers plus the bonus to take home the stunning sum.

The numbers in last night’s (10th June) Lotto draw were: 2, 11, 14, 22, 42, 47, and the Bonus was 29 – and if you’ve got the golden ticket, sign the back of it and make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, an online player in Co. Dublin scooped €40,000 in the Lotto 54321, 7 Number Game. The Dublin player matched five of the seven numbers, including the Bonus, to win their prize.
