Bramham Village Hall secures generous £11,000 National Lottery grant to boost community spirit
A village hall in Wetherby is celebrating a significant funding boost after securing £11,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund.
Bramham Village Hall has received the grant through the Awards for All programme to help support a range of resident-led initiatives and community projects.
The funding will help the village hall continue its work as a welcoming hub for local residents, supporting projects including the popular Village Hub community café, Mums and Tots group, and the annual Community Christmas Day lunch.
As the cost of living continues to impact local families, the grant will help Bramham Village Hall continue to provide a welcoming, free-to-access space for residents to connect.

The funding will also help tackle social isolation by offering a warm and supportive environment for anyone struggling to make connections or make ends meet.
Pete Dunn, Trustee of Bramham Village Hall, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award.
“But this isn’t just about us paying the bills – it’s about investing in the well-being of our villagers.
“Whether it’s a young mum looking for support, or an elderly resident seeking conversation, the Lottery funding will help us to give a ‘warm welcome’ to everyone.
“A massive thank you goes out to the National Lottery Community Fund for helping us bring people together in these ways and improve the spaces that matter to communities.
“But, more than that, the award is a testament to the hard work of all our dedicated volunteers and the wonderful support we get locally.”
