Bramham Village Hall secures £11,000 National Lottery Grant to boost community spirit

Bramham Village Hall is celebrating a significant funding boost this week after securing £11,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund’s Awards for All programme.

This vital grant will be used to supercharge local initiatives, ensuring the hall remains a vibrant, warm, and supportive heart of the community.

The funding will directly support essential, resident-led projects, including the popular “Village Hub” community café, the “Mums and Tots” group, and the cherished Community Christmas Day lunch.

As the cost of living continues to impact local families, this grant ensures that Bramham Village Hall can continue to offer a welcoming, free-to-access space for residents to connect, combating social isolation and fostering community spirit by providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for anyone struggling to make connections and make ends meet.

“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award.” said Village Hall Trustee, Pete Dunn.

“But this isn’t just about us paying the bills; it’s about investing in the well-being of our villagers.

“Whether it’s a young mum looking for support, or an elderly resident seeking conversation, the Lottery funding will help us to give a “warm welcome’ to everyone.”

“A massive thank you goes out to the National Lottery Community Fund for helping us bring people together in these ways and improve the spaces that matter to communities, but, more than that, the award is a testament to the hard work of all our dedicated volunteers and the wonderful support we get locally.”

Bramham Village Hall (Charity No. 1206056) is a community-focused venue providing a maintained facility for local residents, groups, and activities.

It serves as a central hub for social, educational, and leisure events, including three key village “lifeline” projects.
