Barnwell has its first millionaire winner, S.C. Lottery officials say

BARNWELL, S.C. (WJBF) – A Barnwell mom is now a millionaire, after winning $2 million on a scratch-off ticket.
According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, the winner, who would not like to be identified, said she stopped by the Bi Rite Food on Patterson Street on her way to the park. She said she bought a few tickets to take with her to scratch while her child played.
“It still doesn’t feel real,” she reportedly told lottery officials after cashing in the ticket
The winner said she plans to give to her church, help her family and put money away for her child.
For selling the claimed ticket, Bi Rite Food in Barnwell received a commission of $20,000.
