Double Bolton win on People’s Postcode Lottery to cap off week for residents

Neighbours on Third Street in Barrow Bridge won today, March 6, on the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The area covered by the BL1 7NN postcode is one of 19 postcodes nationwide which won on the lottery’s daily prize, which entitles all ticket holders to £1,000 each.

But they were not the only Bolton residents to win today, with neighbours on Wilkinson Avenue in Little Lever also winning on the daily prize.

The street is covered by the BL3 1QP postcode, meaning there was a double win in the borough.

Subscriptions to the postcode lottery support a range of charities across the UK.

The People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month.

The lottery supports “a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world”.

To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 billion in funding, which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
