Check your tickets – millionaire missing in County Tyrone

The hunt is on to find the owner of a EuroMillions ticket worth £1,000,000.

EuroMillions’ UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw, but the winner from the draw on April 24 has yet to claim their prize.

The National Lottery has now confirmed that the winning ticket was bought somewhere in County Tyrone, and players are being urged to double-check their tickets to see if their numbers came in.

A National Lottery Representative said: “For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning code for this missing prize is MBGT03608 and the lucky ticket-holder has until October 21, 2026 to claim their prize”.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim to the winnings can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, which operates the Lottery, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at Allwyn said: “A lucky EuroMillions player is the winner of a life-changing £1,000,000 and doesn’t even know it. We are on a mission to unite our lucky winner with their million-pound prize and are asking players to check their tickets.

“Were you in or around County Tyrone in the week leading up to the 24 April draw? Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? We want to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize.”

The clock is ticking – If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then all the prize money, plus any interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

As with all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days to come forward to claim their prizes, and the missing millionaire has until October 21 to claim their prize.
