Powerball jackpot surges to $905 million after no winner Saturday night

The Powerball jackpot is climbing again after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing, pushing the grand prize to an estimated $905 million for Monday, Aug. 10.

The winning numbers Saturday were 5, 9, 35, 54 and 63, with Powerball 7. The Power Play multiplier was 3X. No ticket hit the jackpot, sending the prize into another drawing after weeks of rollovers.

Monday’s estimated jackpot carries a $391.9 million cash value, according to the latest Powerball estimate shown Sunday morning. The jackpot is now the largest Powerball prize offered so far this year.

There were still plenty of big winners Saturday. One ticket matched five white balls with Power Play to win $2 million, while four other tickets matched five white balls for $1 million prizes, according to the Powerball website.

The swelling Powerball jackpot comes less than two weeks after Florida produced another enormous lottery winner.

A single Mega Millions ticket sold in Florida matched all six numbers in the July 28 drawing, winning a final jackpot of $803 million, with a cash option of $345.5 million. The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59 and 70, with Mega Ball 12. It was the third Mega Millions jackpot won in 2026 and the 10th-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

Florida has a notable history with Mega Millions. The state also holds the game’s all-time record: a $1.602 billion jackpot won Aug. 8, 2023. Since Florida joined Mega Millions in 2013, the state has won or shared six jackpots.

Closer to home, Florida Lottery players have been collecting major prizes across several games. On Wednesday, Aug. 5, one ticket purchased in Lakeland won the $6 million jackpot.

Florida Lotto itself starts at a $1 million jackpot and is drawn twice each week. Players choose six numbers from 1 through 53, with optional Double Play and EZmatch features available for additional chances to win.

For Powerball players, the next chance at the growing jackpot comes Monday night. Powerball tickets cost $2, and the odds of winning the jackpot are roughly 1 in 292.2 million.
