Powerball results for 07/01/26: $1 million winner sold

LANSING, MI — One player won a $1 million prize, but there was no winner of the $375 million Powerball jackpot for the drawing held on Wednesday, July 1. That means the drawing on Saturday, July 4 will be worth $396 million, with a cash option of $180.2 million.

Powerball winners for July 1

  • One player matched all five white numbers drawn to win $1 million. That ticket was sold in San Jose, California and was the largest prize won in the drawing.

  • Three players matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000, and also played the Power Play option, which increased their winnings to $100,000.

  • There were 469,384 tickets sold that won at least $4 in the drawing.

  • Players won a total of $4,224,704 in prizes.

The Powerball jackpot was last won on May 2, 2026 when a player in Florida and a player in Texas split the $20 million jackpot.

Powerball is offered in 45 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26). Tickets cost $2 each.

The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed an $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel.

And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
