Free virtual funding workshop for local charities in North East Fife

A free virtual funding workshop is set to take place this month
Local charities, volunteer organisations and community groups in North East Fife are being invited to join a free virtual funding workshop co‑hosted by Wendy Chamberlain MP and the Postcode Lottery. The session will offer practical guidance on how local good causes can apply for funding to support their work in the community.
The live Zoom event will take place on Friday, June 12 at 11am.
Players of the Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.5 billion for good causes across the UK, generating over £20 million every month for thousands of charities in every constituency. In 2026, grassroots organisations will once again be able to apply for funding.

In North East Fife alone, more than £253,000 raised by players has already supported a wide range of small, local projects.
Wendy Chamberlain MP said: “I am delighted to co‑host this funding workshop with the Postcode Lottery to help local charities access the support available to them.
“I know how many brilliant organisations in North East Fife would benefit from additional funding, and I encourage them to join the session to learn more about the opportunities on offer.
“I am also grateful to the players of the Postcode Lottery, whose continued support makes this funding possible.”
Head of Public Affairs at Postcode Lottery, Nick Cook, added: “The money raised by players of Postcode Lottery is making a huge difference in communities across the country.
“We want to do as much as we can to help local charities and good causes successfully apply, particularly at a time when many are losing out on essential funds.
“Our free virtual workshop is a useful opportunity for smaller, local charities to find out about the funding available, get advice on applying and ask us any questions they may have.”
More than £1.5 billion has been raised for thousands of charities and good causes, thanks to players of Postcode Lottery. To attend contact [email protected].
