There are $300,000 worth of prizes remain unclaimed, according to Connecticut Lottery’s website. All three of the winning tickets are Cash 5 tickets, and each of the tickets is worth a $100,000 prize.
The first winning unclaimed Cash 5 ticket was drawn on Friday, and the winning player has until Dec. 30 to claim the ticket before it expires. The winning ticket’s numbers are 1- 3-12-23-28, and the ticket was sold at Caraluzzis Newtown Market, located at 5 Queen St. in Newtown.
The second unclaimed Cash 5 ticket was drawn on Sunday, and the ticket expires on Jan. 1, 2027, according to Connecticut Lottery. The winning ticket’s numbers are 1-5-9-25-28, and the ticket was sold at Howe St Deli & Grocery, located at 36 Howe St. in New Haven.
The third unclaimed Cash 5 was drawn on Monday, and the ticket expires on Jan. 2, 2027. The winning ticket’s numbers are 3-4-16-23-33, and the ticket was sold at a Big Y World Class location on 355 Hawley Lane in Stratford.
In the Nutmeg State, winning “draw game” tickets (Powerball, Mega Millions, Classic Lotto, Lucky for Life, Super Draw, Cash5 and Play3 and Play4) must be claimed within 180 days from the date of the drawing. Winning tickets that total $50,000 or more must be claimed in person at Connecticut Lottery’s headquarters in Wallingford.
The odds of winning Cash 5 with five numbers and receiving the top prize amount of $100,000 is 1 in 324,632, according to Connecticut Lottery.
