$1M Powerball ticket sold in Maryland

BALTIMORE – There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing to $707 million.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold in Maryland and is worth $1 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.

The numbers drawn Wednesday were 30, 36, 40, 42, 57 and the Powerball number was 2. The estimated jackpot was $668 million.
