Chattanooga powerball player wins $50,000

This weekend’s Tennessee Lottery drawings yielded a Chattanooga Powerball player $50,000.

According to a release from the lottery, the winner purchased the lucky ticket at Star Tobacco & Beer on Middle Valley Crossing in Chattanooga. They matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

A Daily Tennessee Jackpot player in Crab Orchard also won $160,000.

No additional information is available about the winners until prizes are claimed.
