Two people in East TN win big in Tennessee Lottery drawings

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Lottery said two people won big in drawings over the weekend in East Tennessee.

According to lottery officials, there was a $100,000 Powerball Power Play winner from Saturday night. The winner bought the ticket at Fastop Market, located at 1339 E. Parkway in Gatlinburg.

The second East Tennessee winner came Sunday night in Claiborne County. A Daily Tennessee Jackpot ticket worth $30,000 was purchased at Lee’s Food Mart on Cumberland Gap Parkway in Harrogate.

Daily Tennessee Jackpot is a Tennessee-only game with drawings held every day, officials said. Tickets cost a dollar per play, and for an extra dollar, players can add Quick Cash for the chance to win up to $500 instantly.
