Two Essex postcodes win BIG in postcode lottery

Residents in winning postcodes will receive £1,000 for every ticket they hold after the locations were announced among the 20 winning postcodes in recent daily prize results.

Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery in which players pay £12.50 a month, using their postcode as their ticket.

They are automatically entered into all draws and every day 20 postcodes are drawn, with every ticket in each winning postcode worth £1,000.

Players with more than one ticket receive a multiple of the prize.

The winning Essex postcodes in recent draws are:

• CO5 0PL – £1,000 per ticket
• CO9 2BJ – £1,000 per ticket

As well as the daily £1,000 prizes, Postcode Lottery also offers a weekly Millionaire Street draw and monthly £250,000 and Postcode Millions prizes.

The operator has recently undergone a rebrand, now using the shortened Postcode Lottery name and a new visual identity.

It says more than 30 per cent of the ticket price goes to supporting charities and that players have so far raised over £1.7 billion for thousands of good causes in Britain and overseas.
