This Cumbria street just won on the People’s Postcode Lottery

Those with a lottery ticket and a LA17 7TL postcode were awarded a £1,000 win in Thursday’s prize draw.

The postcode belongs to those who live on School Road.

Subscriptions to the postcode lottery supports a range of charities across the UK.

A minimum of 30 per cent of the ticket prices goes to charity.

The Postcode Lottery website states: “Not only do our players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support.”

To date, they’ve raised more than £1.5billion in funding.
