Nine postcodes across Greater Manchester won £1,000 each with the Postcode Lottery this week
Nine Greater Manchester postcodes won a cash prize over the last week with the Postcode Lottery draws which take place every day.
To take part in the Postcode Lottery daily draws, players must sign up their postcode and pay £12.25 a month as a fee. The Postcode Lottery – formerly known as People’s Postcode Lottery – has raised more than £1billion for charities across the UK since the organisation was founded in 2005, as 33 per cent of every ticket purchased goes to charity.
Between Monday 6 April and Sunday 12 April, nine Greater Manchester postcodes won a cash prize with the Postcode Lottery draws, which take place every day.

Over the last week, one man won £333k just after his mum urged him not to quit a lottery when he moved back in with her at home. Lee Plant, 40, won the huge sum on Saturday (April 4) – just two weeks after he considered ditching his Postcode Lottery subscription – when postcode ST3 6AL landed the Millionaire Street prize.
The warehouse worker, from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, says he owes it all to mum Wendy, who told him to keep his membership running at his former address, despite moving back in with her.
Lee, from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, said: “If it wasn’t for my mum, I wouldn’t be here now – simple as that. I nearly cancelled my ticket and then mum told me not to.”
Wendy, 59, added: “I told him to keep it. I was already playing with my postcode, and I said, ‘just leave yours going’, and look what’s happened! It’s like a dream… it really is. I’m glad I told him to keep playing.”
Three Manchester postcodes won over the last week, as well as four Oldham postcodes and two Warrington postcodes. They each won £1,000. Here is the full list.
