Tayab K wins historic Dh30m UAE Lottery prize in Wednesday Eid draw

The winning draw took place during the Eid Al Adha holiday.

UAE.- The UAE Lottery has recorded its first-ever Dh30m (US$8.16m) winner from its Lucky Day draw held on Wednesday, May 27, during the Eid Al Adha holiday. According to details released after the draw, the player successfully matched all six numbers in the Days section — 20, 9, 4, 22, 24 and 18 — alongside the Months number 8 to secure the top prize.

In an announcement on its official website, the operator partially identified the winner as Tayab K, continuing its policy of withholding the full identities of major prize winners.

The latest payout makes the winner only the second person to claim the UAE Lottery’s top-tier jackpot since the national lottery launched in late 2024. Tayab is also the first grand prize winner since the operator revised the game structure in December 2025, cutting the top jackpot from Dh100m (US$27.23m) to Dh30m (US$8.16m) and introducing two weekly draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The UAE Lottery said more than 4,500 participants won prizes across different categories in the Wednesday draw, while the Dh5m (US$1.36m) second-tier prize remained unclaimed. Three participants received guaranteed Dh50,000 (US$13,610) raffle prizes through the Lucky Chance category. Their winning IDs were listed as CI5957759, DN9074079 and DC7968428.
