A Supermac’s Plaza has been confirmed as the place where Ireland’s newest millionaire bought their ticket from.
The lucky jackpot winner of over €8 million bought their Quick Pick ticket for last Saturday’s draw at Pat and Una McDonagh’s Moneygall Plaza named after former President Barack Obama.
It is understood that the winner has already made contact with the National Lottery and arrangements are in place for collection of their winnings.
Pat McDonagh said it’s “wonderful to think that someone simply dropping in has had their life changed forever” adding that they were “absolutely thrilled”.
He said: “Everyone here is hugely excited by the news and we would like to congratulate the winner of this incredible prize.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s Lotto were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus was 37 in a draw that made this person Ireland’s 19th lotto made millionaire this year.
