Saturday’s lottery jackpot winners were bought in Miami-Dade and Broward

Saturday’s major money draw game luck fell on two players who chose their numbers in South Florida.

Neither of those players hit the Powerball, which will be at $57 million for Monday’s drawing, nor got the ever-mounting Florida Lotto jackpot, up to $23.5 million on Wednesday.

The Fantasy 5 midday draw came up 1, 8, 10, 14 and 21, numbers picked by a shopper at the Fresco Y Mas Liquor store at 18302 SW 137th Ave. in South Miami-Dade. That ticket won $64,165.

As for the Fantasy 5 evening draw, someone at Lauderhill’s Unlimited Smoke & Food Store, 8717 NW 50th St., got lucky by selecting 1, 17, 29, 31 and 36. Said quintet of numbers was worth $127,345.

These tickets have to be cashed at one of the nine Florida Lottery district offices. The closest office to both of the above is the office in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., which is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and can be reached at 305-364-3080 or MIARC@flalottery.com.
