Powerball winning numbers: Dozens of $1M, $2M tickets sold—here’s where

Two Powerball players in Indiana and Kansas woke up millions of dollars richer after both tickets hit Wednesday night’s jackpot, splitting the $143 million top prize in a rare double‑jackpot outcome.

The drawing also produced a wave of high‑tier winners: 62 players scored the $1 million Match 5 payout, while 27 doubled their winnings to $2 million thanks to the Power Play add‑on, which multiplies non‑jackpot prizes for an extra dollar.

What Were Winning Numbers?

The winning numbers were 3, 19, 35, 51 and 67, with a red Powerball of 15 and a 2X Power Play.

Where Were Winning Tickets Sold?

The drawing also delivered a surge of Match 5 prizes as 62 players won $1 million, with winners scattered across Arkansas, Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois (3), Indiana (14), Kansas (5), Kentucky, Louisiana (6), Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska (2), New Jersey (14), Oregon, Pennsylvania (5) and Wisconsin (4).

Another 27 players doubled their Match 5 payout to $2 million, including winners in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana (5), Kansas, Louisiana (5), Mississippi, New Jersey (4), Oregon (3), Pennsylvania (2), Rhode Island, South Carolina and Wisconsin (2).

Where Can I Buy Tickets?

Powerball players had plenty of options for grabbing a ticket ahead of the latest drawing, whether at traditional retailers or through approved online platforms. Tickets are sold in person at authorized lottery outlets—including gas stations, convenience stores, supermarkets and drugstores—and, in some states, through digital services like Lotto.com or Jackpocket. These apps operate only in select jurisdictions and require buyers to be physically located within the state at the time of purchase.

Regardless of where they buy, players must meet the state’s legal age requirement and be present in the state of purchase. Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, giving players multiple chances each week to try their luck.

How Unlikely Is Jackpot Win?

Powerball players face steep odds when chasing the jackpot, but the game offers nine ways to win, ranging from the $4 lowest-tier prize to the multimillion‑dollar grand prize, according to the official Powerball website. The jackpot itself carries the toughest odds—1 in 292,201,338—and winners can choose between a lump‑sum payout or a 30‑year annuity. All other prize tiers award fixed cash amounts, except in California, where payouts are pari‑mutuel and depend on ticket sales and the number of winners.

Lower‑tier prizes come with far better odds. Matching five white balls for the $1 million prize sits at 1 in 11.7 million, while mid‑tier prizes like $50,000 carry odds of about 1 in 913,000. Smaller prizes, including the $4 and $7 tiers, hit far more frequently, contributing to the game’s overall odds of 1 in 24.87 for winning any prize. Power Play can multiply non‑jackpot winnings up to 10X when the jackpot is $150 million or less, with the 10X multiplier appearing in 1 in 43 draws.
