Postcode Lottery unveils new brand identity
The Postcode Lottery has entered a new chapter in its company evolution with the introduction of a new brand identity and logo.
Formerly known as the People’s Postcode Lottery, the brand refresh will see the operator go by the shorter name of ‘Postcode Lottery’.
This will be complemented by a “modern, distinct and simple” logo, designed by the brand’s in-house team, which aims to reflect its dedication to raising funds for charity and adopting new technologies.
Postcode Lottery believes that the new brand identity showcases its commitment to offering players “the best possible experience in a digital world of smartphones, apps and social media”.
In a statement, Postcode Lottery said: “The things we know our players love about the Postcode Lottery will remain the same. Streets, neighbours and communities coming together, winning together and at the same time, raising funding to make life better for everyone.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together with our players. So far, they have raised more than £1.7bn in vital funding for thousands of charities and good causes, helping create lasting positive change.”
A new chapter
Continuing to raise funds for charities and good causes has long been at the heart of the Postcode Lottery.
In 2025 alone, the Postcode Lottery Group – the parent company of the UK operator – celebrated a new milestone by raising €1bn for charitable organisations, bringing the total raised since its inception in 1989 to €15bn.
Publishing its financial results last month, The Postcode Lottery Group doubled down on its commitment to supporting such causes in 2026 and beyond, noting that its focus will be to “grow responsibly, engage more players and increase funding for charities year after year”.
It’s clear that the group’s 2026 strategy places significant emphasis on responsible, sustainable growth as a gambling brand.
By introducing a new visual identity and adapting its name, the new modern-look Postcode Lottery has somewhat distanced itself from more traditional gambling identities and instead focused on reinforcing its image as a community-focused operator.
