Residents living in four North East areas have won money on the Postcode Lottery. Over the last seven days streets across the region were among the locations where players have won a £1,000 prize.
The winning areas were picked out between Saturday, June 6 and Friday, June 12. A number of postcodes were selected as winners, including those in Sunderland, Newcastle and Darlington.
The People’s Postcode Lottery, which raises money for charity through its subscriptions, unveils daily prizes for postcodes across the country. A minimum of 33% from each ticket goes to charity.
The North East Postcode Lottery winners from for the last week, as well as the amounts that their prize is worth, are as follows:
SR5 4RE – Sunderland – £1,000
SR3 3PG – Sunderland – £1,000
NE3 2YX – Newcastle – £1,000
DL3 8PL – Darlington – £1,000
