Residents in these North East areas who play the national game have won a £1,000 prize
Residents living in five North East areas have won money on the Postcode Lottery. Over the last seven days streets across the region were among the locations where players have won a £1,000 prize in the past week.
The winning areas were picked out between Saturday, May 30 and Friday, June 5. A number of postcodes were selected as winners, including those in Northumberland, Sunderland and Teesside.
The People’s Postcode Lottery, which raises money for charity through its subscriptions, unveils daily prizes for postcodes across the country. A minimum of 33% from each ticket goes to charity.
The North East Postcode Lottery winners from for the last week, as well as the amounts that their prize is worth, are as follows:
TS14 7DY – Guisborough – £1,000
NE46 3SA – Hexham – £1,000
SR4 7QL – Sunderland – £1,000
TS22 5SZ – Billingham – £1,000
TS6 9RG – Middlesbrough – £1,000
