Residents of this North East area who play the national game have won a £1,000 prize
Residents living in just one North East area have won money on the Postcode Lottery. Remarkably, over the last seven days streets across the region were among the locations where players have won a £1,000 prize in the past week.
The winning areas were picked out between Saturday, May 16 and Friday May 22. A number of postcodes were selected as winners, meaning residents will be having quite a very nice Bank Holiday indeed.
But in the North East, it was a quiet week. The People’s Postcode Lottery, which raises money for charity through its subscriptions, unveils daily prizes for postcodes across the country. A minimum of 33% from each ticket goes to charity.
The North East Postcode Lottery winners from for the last week, as well as the amounts that their prize is worth, are as follows:
- NE24 4PS – Blyth – £1,000
The broader south-east Northumberland area has had a lucky few weeks though, as just last week – on May 15 – there were winners in both Bedlington and Cramlington, too.
- NE22 5QD – Bedlington – £1,000
- NE23 8FG – Cramlington – £1,000
