Panthers have ninth pick in NHL Draft after lottery results

SECAUCUS, New Jersey — The Florida Panthers didn’t strike it lucky and land the number one pick in the NHL Draft Lottery Tuesday night but still hold the ninth pick.
The Panthers had a 6% chance to receive the winning four-digit combination for the first pick.
The Toronto Maple Leafs ended up getting the first pick when the ping-pong balls settled, despite having an 8.5% chance for the winning combo.
The Panthers are scheduled to pick ninth when the NHL Draft starts June 26th.
The Panthers are currently slotted to have seven picks in the draft, including three in the first two rounds.
Your Panthers 360 crew is preparing an NHL Draft special when all the picks are finished this summer.
