One lucky Dublin punter has woken up €500,000 richer this morning after they scooped the top prize in Tuesday’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw (Tuesday, March 24) at the Centra on Dame Street in Dublin 2. The winning numbers were 3, 6, 8, 42 and 49.
Elsewhere, two players – one from Dublin, and one from Louth – matched 5 numbers to each win €13,468 in last night’s main EuroMillions draw. The first player purchased their Quick Pick ticket from the Applegreen at Dundalk Retail Park in Marshes Upper on Sunday.
The other player purchased their ticket from Spar Cathedral Court on New Street in Dublin 8 on Monday. The winning EuroMillions numbers for Tuesday’s draw were 12, 16, 17, 18 and 27, and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 3.
The National Lottery is urging players in both Louth and Dublin to carefully check their tickets. National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “What a Tuesday night it has been for our EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus players!
“A Dublin player took home the biggest prize of the night when they scooped the top prize of €500,000 after matching all 5 numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw. And of course, that wasn’t our only big winner in Tuesday night’s draws.
“Two players in Louth and Dublin scooped €13,468 each in the main draw. In total, over 43,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the Euromillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.
“The Tuesday night winners should now make contact with our Prize Claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit National Lottery Headquarters and collect their prize.”
