NYC affordable housing lottery: Buy an apartment for under $20K – AOL

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Waitlists have opened for affordable housing lotteries offering apartments for sale for under $20K in New York City.

The buildings are part of the Mitchell-Lama program that provides affordable rental and cooperative housing to moderate and middle-income families.

Nagle House

• Location: 240 Nagle Avenue, Manhattan, 10034

• Units for sale:

  • Two-bedroom apartments are available for $1,560 to $2,160 for a household of two to five people with an annual income of $21,879 to $31,235, with a monthly maintenance fee from $1,083.96 to $1,093.71.

  • Studios are available for $14,825 to $17,705 for a household of one to two people, with a monthly maintenance fee from $540.77 to $561.45.

Woodlawn Houses

• Location: 4260 Katonah Avenue, Bronx, 10470

• Units for sale:

  • One-bedroom apartments are available for $20,110.76 for a household of one to two people with an annual income of $33,128 to $97,350.12, with a monthly maintenance fee of $828.20 to $852.24.

Rochdale Village – Queens

• Location: 169-65 137th Avenue, Jamaica, Queens, 11434

• Units for sale:

  • Studios are available for purchase for $10,800 for a household of one to two people with an annual income up to $98,404, with a monthly maintenance charge from $941.05 to $1,120.21.

  • 1-bedroom apartments are available for purchase for $10,800 to $14,400 for a household of one to two people with an annual income up to $120,936.96, with a monthly maintenance charge from $941.05 to $1,426.45.
