National Lottery Powerball results for the first-ever UK £322m draw

Results checker for Thursday morning’s hige £322m jackpot draw

The first-ever National Lottery Powerball draw for UK players took place on Thursday morning.

Powerball sees UK players pay £4 per line to compete with their US counterparts in the world’s biggest jackpot game for the first time.

This week’s jackpot was a massive £322m, with the prize paid to winners of 30 years.

Powerball draws take place in the United States every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at around 4am UK time. The deadline for playing will work slightly differently to the Lotto or EuroMillions draws – tickets will have to be purchased by 11:55pm to enter the following day’s draw.

Matching five numbers can win players £1m, as well as smaller prizes for matching some of the numbers – including £8 for matching two numbers.

If no one wins the jackpot can rollover to a eye-watering £1bn.

The numbers for Thursday’s Powerball draw are: 04, 05, 22, 50, 58, and the Powerball 01.

It is the first time the game – which was behind the record-breaking jackpot worth more than 2.04 billion dollars won in 2022 – has operated outside of the US.

The UK game features an extra “match two main numbers” prize tier, which is only available to UK players and offers a fixed prize of £8. Tickets for the game cost £4 per line.

The overall odds of winning any prize on Powerball in the UK are one in 14, while the odds of winning the jackpot prize are around one in 292 million.
