More Than Liverpool: How Much Money Arsenal Are Set to Earn From Winning Premier League

Arsenal have brought an end to their 22-year wait to win the Premier League title, after they were confirmed as champions for the 2026/27 season.

Man City’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium means the Gunners now sit four points clear at the top of the table with one game remaining, ending their six-year trophy drought in the process, and giving fans a reason to take to the streets of north London to celebrate.

But now it has emerged that club chiefs will also have a reason to celebrate, with the club set to rake in a huge amount of cash for finishing top of the pile of English football.

Arsenal to Rake in More Than Liverpool After Title Win

As part of being in the Premier League, Arsenal are guaranteed to pocket £96.9m as a baseline payment which is received by all clubs in the English top-flight. That is made up of £29.8m from a domestic TV deal, £59.2m from international TV rights, and a central commercial payment of £7.9m.

But for finishing top of the table, the Gunners will earn an additional £53.1m in basic merit venue, boosting their earnings massively. They’ll also earn a larger chunk of TV fees after being heavily televised over the course of the campaign, which is expected to earn them between £24.9m to £27.4m, which is typically paid to the league’s most frequently broadcasted teams.

Last year, Liverpool racked up an incredible £174.9m in total for winning the Premier League title, with Arsenal earning £171.5m for finishing as runners-up. But this season, their totals are expected to exceed that.

With the £96.9m guaranteed share, plus the £53.1m for finishing top, and between £24.9m and £27.4m for their share of the broadcasting deal, the Gunners are expected to pocket between £176-178m as a total payout from the Premier League, before any external bonuses from outside sponsors are factored in, from the likes of Emirates and adidas, according to the Daily Express.

Arsenal, as mentioned, have claimed £53.1m for finishing top of the table, but we now know how much other teams in the division are likely to earn now as well, including Manchester City, Man Utd, and relegation battlers Tottenham Hotspur.
