Mid Wales residents start Bank Holiday with win on People’s Postcode Lottery

The group won £1,000 per ticket in the competition’s Daily Draw today (Friday, May 1).

The winning postcode was SY23 4AR.

The postcode covers the area of Abermagwr, which is near Aberystwyth.

The daily draw sees anyone living in one of the lucky postcodes with a winning ticket picking up a £1,000 cash prize.

Players are automatically entered into every draw and prices are announced every day of the month.

The People’s Postcode Lottery prides itself that a third of the ticket price goes to charities that help “amazing causes every single day”.

The lottery is hugely popular across the UK and supports “a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world”.
