Mega Millions results for 08/25/26: $2 million winner sold
One player brought home a $2 million prize, but there was no winner of the $130 million Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing held on Tuesday, Aug. 25. That means the drawing on Friday, Aug. 28 will be worth $145 million, with a cash option of $61.9 million.

A player in New Mexico matched all five white numbers drawn to win a $1 million prize. With the automatic multiplier applied, it increased their winnings to $2 million. That was the largest prize won in the drawing.

Four players matched four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 base prize. With the multiplier applied, one player ended up with $20,000, while the three others won $30,000.

A total of 208,917 winning tickets were sold in the drawing.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; the Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 24. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290 million.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $5 each.
