LANSING, MI — The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow as there was no winner of the $672 million grand prize for the drawing held on Friday, July 17. That means the drawing on Tuesday, July 21 will be worth an estimated $707 million, with a cash option of $307.7 million.
The current jackpot would be the 10th largest prize won in Mega Millions history.

Mega Millions winners for July 17:
- Along with no grand prize winner, no one matched all five white balls drawing to win a $1 million prize.
- Nine players matched four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 base prize with each ticket having a multiplier attached. Six players won $20,000, two players won $40,000 and one player won $50,000. The $50,000 prize was the prize won in the game.
- A total of 401,113 tickets sold in the game won at last $10 in the drawing.
The Mega Millions jackpot hasn’t been in more than four months as the last winner came on March 17 when a player in Ohio won a $60 million grand prize.
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; the Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 24. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290 million.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $5 each.
