Mega Millions, Powerball jackpots climb to combined $837 million

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – The North Carolina Education Lottery announced that tonight’s and Saturday night’s jackpots continue to grow with no jackpot winner.

Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $489 million as an annuity, or $220.9 million in cash. Saturday’s Powerball jackpot stands at an estimated $348 million as an annuity, or $157.5 million in cash.

Combined, the two jackpots total $837 million this weekend.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290 million, while the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
